CHARISMATEK Software Metrics Online Training Course:
Unleashing the Power of Function Point Analysis using the Function
Point WORKBENCH™
|
The Function Point WORKBENCH™ software is so much
more than just a function point count repository. It provides a range of
features that substantially enhance the Function Point Analysis process
and aid in the overall management and control of software projects.
CHARISMATEK's online training course "Unleashing
the Power of Function Point Analysis using the Function Point
WORKBENCH™" is specifically targeted to both new function point
analysts starting out using the WORKBENCH and also to more experienced
WORKBENCH users looking to refresh their knowledge. |
 |
The course provides WORKBENCH users with a full understanding of how to
perform, analyse, validate and report their function point counts in the
easiest, most productive and most reliable manner possible.
Course participants learn how to use the WORKBENCH to:
-
Build complete Functional Models of their software projects and
applications;
-
Extend those models to determine their function point size;
-
Manage software application baselines and enhancement projects; and
-
Validate, analyse and report their function point counts.
The course is presented as two half day sessions. For course dates and
costs see the detailed description and registration page.
It is being offered at a special discounted rate to current WORKBENCH
clients of only US$285 per participant for the first two participants from
the same organisation and US$225 for each subsequent participant from that
same organisation.
The course utilises the IFPUG Function Point Counting Practices Manual
Release 4.3 Functional Size Measurement Method and is presented by CHARISMATEK's
senior consultant, David Cleary, who has been an IFPUG Certified Function Point
Specialist since 1998.
